Job Description:

Job Summary

Manual guidance, equipment automation, and water management training and troubleshooting in Latin America and Spain region.
Supports development of kits for regional specific platforms.
Responsible for training Resellers, OEM's and Agribusiness accounts.
Responsibilities: Key areas and duties of position.
Training & troubleshooting manual guidance systems, sensors, equipment automation systems, including Autopilot & Field Level.
Supporting development of region specific platforms & applications.
Technical representation at Ag trade shows & field days.
Development and execution of effective and efficient training plans. Assistance as required with customer support and product management of the ag product line.


Characteristics / Skills

Position requires heavy travel (75%), self motivation, ag market knowledge, precison ag and water management product knowledge, an understanding of GPS and RTK networks, ability to communicate with and make presentations, agribusinesses and growers. Ability to maintain relationships. BS or technical degree in ag education, equipment mechanization, or ag engineering, plus 4 years of experience in guiance, water management and/or ag equipment service. Mechanic appitude is a requirement. This individual should possess good people skills and strong interpersonal and cross-functional skills since ag training and troubleshooting will often require coordinating with people working in other disciplines over which there is no direct authority. Ability to rapidly master a solid working knowledge of product function and application. Understanding of competitive product offerings.


Education / Experience

AS or technical degree in ag education, equipment mechanization, or ag engineering, plus 3 years of experience in guidance, water management and/or ag equipment service or equivalent experience.


Local Requirements

Speak English & Spanish; Portuguese & French is desireable.
